The weather is finally favorable and we are heading north to Fiji! This will likely be our longest passage of our year’s travels, at 8-10 days. Once we were feeling confident with our departure date, the preparations accelerated. After we filled several grocery carts, ran countess errands, did every stitch of laundry, and checked off the boat to-list, we departed Auckland this morning and the spinnaker is full! 

Customs arrived on board at 8am to check us out of New Zealand. We refueled and topped off the water tanks. The sun was shining and the 50* temps make us long for the warmth awaiting us in Savusavu, Fiji! We will be off the grid for 7-10 days, depending on the winds and seas. We will have much to share in our next post from Savusavu!
